E.N.T.E.R.2 (Gr 8-9)

The eCademy of New Technology, Engineering and Robotics (Grades 8-9)

The E.N.T.E.R.2 program which started in September 2014, offers a continuation of studies for students who have completed E.N.T.E.R., or who have a passion for science, technology, and the online world. The program combines 3 days of face to face instruction Tuesday – Thursday at Highland Secondary School in Comox, BC with two days of supported distributed learning at home Mondays and Fridays.

E.N.T.E.R.2 offers a special focus on creating and supporting Maker Space, a creative synergy of online tools, projects, and levels of expertise. With a focus on technology, the learning cycles of this program incorporate related themes and offers a comprehensive academic program to encourage independent learning and critical thought. This program is fully accredited by the BC Ministry of Education and offers an alternative educational stream to traditional bricks and mortar schooling.

Why should I consider E.N.T.E.R. for my child?
By engaging your child’s inherent passion for learning, the eCademy of New Technology, Engineering and Robotics (E.N.T.E.R.) encourages learning in a way that develops creative thought, independence and critical thinking.

Like our Fine Arts Academy, the E.N.T.E.R.2 program is based on 21st Century Learning Theory. This growing pedagogical movement embraces the idea that every child is unique and learns in his or her own way.
The traditional educational model of factory-injected curricula isn't necessarily conducive to long-term learning or critical thinking. Navigate’s programs are designed to leverage our students’ passions and develop highly intelligent learners with the cognitive skills to become highly successful adults.

Space may be limited to the first 24 students, so register today or call 250.337.5300 to find out more.
