Navigate’s Aboriginal Cultural Day was another smashing success this year at Tsolum School. Eighty students and their parents participated in various activities, such as Métis friendship bracelet making, Storytelling, drumming circles, and a presentation on traditional hunting and trapping. At noon, we had two wonderful cooks who served cedar smoked salmon on an open fire, coleslaw and delicious bannock. It was such a wonderful day and smiles could be seen throughout the school. Thank you to all of our wonderful presenters and cooks who did an outstanding job! A special thank you to Jennifer Hibbert who organized this memorable day for our students!
