Homewood Secondary Retreat

November 8, 2012

Homewood was once again a memorable trip for Navigate Secondary Students. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to spend time together and bond as they participated in a range of outdoor activities. These activities included archery, riflery, horseback riding, canoeing, mapping, rocket building and launching, followed by indoor games in the evening lead by Homewood staff.

The Homewood talent show was spectacular!  We have an amazing number of very talented students. The audience was captivated as they were treated to a show of poetry reciting, piano, belly dancing, and guitar playing by soloists, in duets, and groups that formed for the event. Even our fearless leader Jeff Stewart got up and played guitar, impressing everyone!

Overall the trip was a success and thoroughly enjoyed by all!
