Navigate and the Current Labour Dispute

September 2, 2014

As you are aware, the labour dispute between the BCTF and BCPSEA is currently unresolved and the teachers are on strike with no indication that schools will reopen any time soon.  As a public distributed learning school, we are directly affected by the strike.  While students can register online for courses and submit first assignments, these registrations cannot be processed or supported past this point as our CUPE clerical staff are unable to work because of the strike.

Therefore, please note that your registration and course work will not be processed until the labour dispute is resolved.

We want you to know that we appreciate your patience and understand that this period of uncertainty will create challenges for those student who wish to proceed with their courses.
