Simple Machines and Lego Robotics in Nanaimo

May 2, 2013

Nanaimo students have been working enthusiastically with ENTER teacher Roger Vernon on the concept of simple machines. They built various structures out of Lego, demonstrating the use of levers, pullies and gears, wheel and axels, screws and inclined planes. Tons of fun has been had by students as they build new structures and test out their simple machine components. Next week Roger will start teaching Robotics to this excitable crowd of young learners.  Thank you to Roger for sharing your expertise and knowledge with our students!
