Science for Citizens 11


Overview: Science for Citizens 11 provides students with credit for a Science 11 course. The focus of the course is on real world, practical applications of science. The big ideas in this course are: how scientific processes and knowledge inform our decisions and impact our daily life; how scientific knowledge can be used to develop procedures, techniques and technologies that have implications for places of employment; and how scientific understanding enables humans to respond and adapt to changes locally and globally.
